Happenings January
Things to do...
- Rotary hoe vege beds again
- Make beds for palnts
- Build more compost bins
- Plant remaining trees
- Weedmat beech hedge
- Wire between posts for cane fruit
- Clear around pond
- Wire mesh around iris in pond to stop the pesky puk's from eating them!
- Make separate area in potager for cuttings
January 7
Plant tomtoes, pumpkin and peppers.
Happenings February
Planted more wisteria below pond and some yellow daylillies above. Planted evergreen oaks in oak grove. Lost a few trees over the winter...must get more! :)
De-thistle! De-thistle! De-thistle! @*!@* Sprayed along beech hedge.
Removed suckers from cherry trees. Prune plane trees..they have been pollarded. De-thistle!!
The rest of this year was not terribly interesting or eventful as I don't seem to have any entries in my gardening journal (handwritten) hmmmm....
