One of my favourite areas on the paddock is the pond. Below the pond grow the willows. I love to photograph them through the seasons because they change so much. Autumn sees them putting on a yellow show before they drop their leaves to coat the pond. Winter sunshowers produce gleaming golden branches and on dusk with the setting sun they glow. In the Summer they are protection for baby ducklings who hide in the pond beneath the large over-hanging branches, safe from hawks who dont venture in there and in Springtime the new foliage is bright and fresh, giving an almost fluffy look. They have grown so fast! They are big trees now where I can walk beneath and not bang my head ;)
